Funding available for Staffordshire Community Learning Groups 2016-2017

Staffordshire Arts

Funding is now available from Staffordshire Adult Community Learning to contribute to the costs of venue hire to enable community groups to meet together to develop a hobby or learn a new skill.

The total funding paid will amount to 50% of the total premises venue hire costs up to a maximum of £1,000. The funding can only be paid for the number of sessions the group meets and there must be a clear focus on learning for the group to qualify for funding.

There is a requirement to be fully compliant with the conditions of funding, the County Council’s policies and to submit a register of attendance and a brief impact report at the end of the delivery.

Priority will be given to groups in East Staffordshire, Tamworth, Cannock Chase and Newcastle and those which target Adults with Learning Disabilities/Difficulties and/or those with enduring mental ill health, but this should not deter you from applying outside of these areas as consideration will also be given to other groups if funding is still available.
