Stoke-on-Trent City Council have created a new fund to support Community Events. £30,000 is being made available for local groups to create and put on community festivals, activities and events in the region
The council is keen to support a range of arts and culturally diverse activities and events, and groups or individuals can receive up to £1,500. More money is available if the event is of a particular benefit to key audiences in the city
A fund panel will meet twice to review applications, and deadlines to apply fall on 17 June and 20 September 2013
