Event Production Manager Required for Tasty New Staffordshire Arts Programme

Another exciting job is available for Appetite – the new North Staffordshire arts programme which secured £3million of arts council funding last year to deliver a menu of engaging arts in the region over 3 years starting this summer.

They seek a highly experienced Production Manager or Company to help realise their programme of large scale top class outdoor arts events in Stoke-on-Trent.  This will require handling the main productions and events for the summer programme across multiple venues, and which will include aerial circus performances, pavement cafes and street theatre shows.

The contract will run from July when technical planning commences.  Initial production fit ups late July and the get outs and de-brief at the end of August.

The total fee for this is £6250 inclusive of travel, subsistence and accommodation where required. (Worked out at approximately 27 days)

[h3]How to apply [/h3]

To be considered you will need to clearly demonstrate the following:

  • Significant events production experience
  • Experience of working on artistic outdoor events and with artists/ touring arts organisations
  • Excellent track record of successful event delivery; delivering on-time and within budget
  • Experience of Production Managing events from small to large scale
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills (i.e. working with a wide range of companies, local authorities and suppliers)
  • Experience of managing and contracting technical and production staff.
