About Stafford Art Group
Stafford Art Group was founded in 1963 and has a membership of over 100. It is open to anyone interested in the visual arts and provides an opportunity to pursue art as a recreation with a relaxed and friendly Group of fellow artists.

All levels of attainment are catered for and both beginners and more experienced artists are welcome.

Most meetings consist of practical painting sessions where members are encouraged to pursue their art using whatever medium they wish.  In addition, throughout the year, at approximately monthly intervals, there are painting demonstrations, talks and slide shows by visiting professional artists.

Anyone who would like to join the group should contact Sue Chatterton on 01785 618433 or Rita Banks on 01889 505 386, or just go to one of the group’s meetings.  They take place at the Littleworth Community Centre, Stafford, 2pm – 4pm on Tuesdays and 7.30pm -9.30pm on Fridays.  The group does break during the summer.  Full details can be found on Stafford Art Group website
