First up is THE MOTHERTOWN – An independent zombie comedy horror flick,  filmed in Stoke-on-Trent and written and produced by John Williams on a micro budget of just £500.

The Mothertown follows a small group of characters through their journey for survival in this witty, comedic story set and shot in stoke on trent.

For most of the film it was just creator John williams, a camera and no idea, but with the help of some brilliant local people a stonking good B movie horror comedy has been produced.

Many local Stoke and Staffordshire artists have contributed to the making of the film, including performers, technical support, and even musicaians – such as Staffordshire musician Tiffany Lunn, who has provided a couple of songs to the soundtrack of The Mothertown and  joins the long list of local artists on the soundtrack.

The Mothertown will be released later 2014 and stars Kraig Gallimore, Mark Rathbone, Pete Bennett , Daniel Alexander, Max kraan, Nick Hancock, Maura Judges, Gary Edwards, Sophie Ellsby, Kirk Wilkinson
