Fantastic Opportunity for Artists
The Exhibition forms part of the annual Leek Arts Festival calendar of events and provides artists with a fantastic opportunity to present their work to an independent panel of judges.

The annual exhibition of local works remains a highlight in the local art calendar. It attracts some fantastic art each year and comments from artists and visitors are always extremely positive due to the high quality of art it attracts.

[blockquote]We would love to see previous artists and also new and up and coming artists use this exhibition to showcase their artistic talents. The exhibition was a great success last year and we want to build on that success. [/blockquote]

Artists can submit art in the following categories for consideration; photography, painting & drawing, contemporary applied art and sculpture.

The Exhibition runs from Saturday 13th April to Saturday 18th May and art should be handed in on Saturday 6th April at Nicholson Gallery between 10.30am and 3.30pm. Up to 3 submissions can be made for an entry fee of £10.

The organisers run the exhibition voluntarily and any funds raised are ploughed back into the event providing prize money for a 2D/3D category and photographic category prize alongside a public vote prize and this year an SMDC sponsored prize too. The prize ceremony will take place on Saturday 18th May at 1pm at the Nicholson Gallery.
