Staffordshire writer of murder and mayhem signs book deal

Staffordshire’s Mel Sherratt – self proclaimed writer of murder and mayhem and hoarder of killer heels, has finally written the words she genuinely though she never would – that being the thrilling announcement that she has signed a major two book deal with Thomas and Mercer, the publishing arm of Amazon.

Mel Sherratt Taunting The DeadMel’s new book WATCHING OVER YOU will be the first to be published as part of the deal, made available in paperback digital and audio.  This will be followed by a re-jacketed version of TAUNTING THE DEAD.  Both books Both books to be published are set in Stoke-on-Trent, with Taunting the Dead based in Hanley, and Watching Over You in Trentham.  The books will be available in traditional bookshops  across UK, Europe and America ans well as online, and Mel hopes her books will help raise the profile of her home city of Stoke-on-Trent

The books will be launched simultaneously across the Europe and the US and publication dates are to be confirmed, but we will keep you posted.

Staffordshire Arts is delighted and thrilled for Staffordshire based Mel Sherratt, who has continually made a gigantic contribution to the world of crime and murder fiction.
