Documentary released about FRONTLINEdance latest project

Staffordshire Arts

A wonderful short documentary has been released which delves into the background of Forget Me Knot’, a new piece of work from FRONTLINEdance, created by Rachael Lines.

The Arts Council funded work features two dancers and a musician, and is predominently intended to be performed site specifically in care wards.

Two contemporary dancers Clare and Mary along with composer and musician Greg, have worked closely with choreographer / director Rachael Lines to create a performance experience which has patients, visitors and staff at the heart of what they created.  More than 100 people responded to the question “What do you hope you never forget” which lead to the creation of two new dance works and pieces of music.

They thought about the space, ward set up and the working environment, working closely with the elderly care staff.

In the winter of 2015 the work was toured to Queens Hospital Burton and  Royal Stoke University Hospital.
