This festival has now passed- in the meantime get the latest about Alsager Music Festival at http://alsagermusicfestival.co.uk/

The festival started in 2009 as a way to provide young people with a summer event to fill the long holidays and also to give opportunities to perform at a free music festival. Since those early days, the festival has been organised by a group of local musicians, music enthusiasts and members of Alsager Round Table, Alsager Partnership and The Scouts. The event takes place in Milton Park, Alsager on the second weekend in July. More recently, local pubs have become involved with events taking place across the whole weekend.

With more than 5000 people in attendance watching over 9 hours of music across multiple stages, whatever your musical taste there is bound to be something for you to enjoy. Beyond the music there is a bar serving real ales, merchandise stalls, food and drink to suit all tastes, craft stalls, childrens activities and charity fund-raisers.

The Main Stage hosts a diverse range of music in front of a large crowd. The Sunken Garden Stage covers acoustic acts in an intimate setting and the Greenway Stage encourages young musicians to play for the first time in front of an audience. And if you prefer to while away the day in one of the local pubs there is always plenty of choice of music on offer there too!

The festival is completely run by volunteers and is non-profit making. Any money raised is given to local charitable causes or returned to organising the next years event. If you would like to volunteer to help organise the event please get in touch to info@alsagermusicfestival.co.uk.

Thank you and see you on the weekend of 9th and 1o July 2016.
