Talented Staffordshire University Graduates Daniel Waterman and Gary Carse, who now run animation company Carse and Waterman are up for the chance to get their latest short animated film screened across UK cinemas as part of the Virgin Media Short Competition.

[blockquote]This a really exciting project for us to be involved in as it brings together talent from across Staffordshire[/blockquote]

Their animated short – entitled BlueBird is written by Luke Barnes, who is best known as the character Rast from the popular television series Game of Thrones and was filmed on and around Staffordshire University.

It follows the journey of a little girl and she tries to capture a Bluebird to bring her true happiness.
