Staffordshire Pubs Get a Music Infused Theatrical Takeover

Potboiler Theatre Company are preparing to takeover many of Staffordshire’s pubs this month and have brewed up a musical infused piece of work called ‘The Inn’, along with some more ad-hoc performances called ‘The Rhapsodies’ planned to gatecrash other ‘locals’ in the region.

The Inn, produced by Noth Staffordshire theatre makers Kat Hughes and Kat Boon, builds on their last years success of ‘Stories from Pub Corners’

An evening of live music, drama & storytelling taking over your local.

The Inn’s recently deceased Landlord has just been spotted haunting the urinals but Landlady Stella’s determined the karaoke will carry on…. it’s going to be anything but a quiet pint at The Inn tonight.

Grab yourself a drink & gather at The Inn, as a community of the peculiar and the inebriated ride out a perfect storm in a pint glass!

Tues 11 Aug, 7-9pm: The Old Brown Jug, Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire
Weds 12 Aug, 7-9pm: The Cock Inn, Leek, Staffordshire
Thurs 13 Aug, 7-9pm: The Leopard, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent

A stranger has appeared at the bar, with a pint in hand and a musician in tow. He wants to tell you a tale if you’ll listen. Ready? … Quick fire tales of the peculiar and the unusual spun by characters from The Inn. Perhaps you will get lucky and catch one as they pop up unannounced at your local across Staffordshire, Stoke and Staffordshire Moorlands pubs: 27-29 July 2015.
