Lichfield Comedy Club Is Serious About Comedy

Staffordshire Arts

The Stroke Comedy Club, in Lichfield, is described by many of the comedians as the best independent live comedy venue in the country.  It wa started in 2002 by Jane Mackenzie at the George Hotel in Lichfield – and was an instant success. Ken Jenkins took over in 2004 and has been booking the acts and making virtually every show a sell-out ever since. Kenbrings up some of the best live standup comedy acts from the London circuit for your evening’s entertainment.

The club is held the first Thursday of Every Month, and each show is hosted by an MC, and features four Stand-up Comedians including the MC, unless it is a double headliner.

Shows start at 8:15pm – but you are advised to arrive no later than 7:45pm or else you may end up standing-up too, or worse still – standing out in the rain without a ticket.
